industrial filter elements have been expressly studied for several industrial
sectors applications. In particular, for Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM)
a range of filtering cartridges suitable for micro-filtration of dielectric
and cooling liquids has been set both for wire and dive sinking workings.
Moreover, according to the recent directives on environment protection,
FILTERMAT has developed and introduced new filtering cartridges for EDM,
completely burnable. |

| Upper
and bottom covers : |

galvanized steel 6/10 or epoxy painted steel 6/10
- glass
charged nylon
- steel
covers, as well as special nylon ones, are bonded to the pleated paper
by a special resin high temperature resistant and particularly stable
to the action of chemical agents.

- Outer
liner (if foreseen) in galvanized steel 5/10, holes dia. 6,5 mm; for
some kind of filter elements, the outer liner is reinforced, by using
a special perforating system.
- Filtering
media : pleated media composed by cellulose impregnated with phenolic
resin, with a filtration range from 5 to 20 nominal µ and thin
pasteboard discs mixed to synthetic fibers.
- The
SPECIAL PLEATING SYSTEM guarantees the stability of the structure, by
maintaining its original shape for a longtime, without loosing working
filter area, with relevant consequences on the efficiency and life of
filter elements, without adding any particular spacer.
