The EUROPA self-cleaning filter removes all the unpleasant materials suspended in the water, like : sand, limestone encrustation's and colloidal substances above 60 µ largeness (standard of filtration). The water flow enters the filter and goes through the filter cartridge. The present particles stay behind. By time and depending on the water quality the filter cartridge clogs up. To restore the cartridge filtering effectiveness, it is very important to start an effective rinsing. When opening the drain-valve, a depression is created inside the glass that lowers the filter cartridge and reverts the cleaning water flow. The kept particles on the mesh are pushed on the water grain. Closure of the valve results in creation the previous pressure into the filter that rises the cartridge and places the filter in service again. Usually, two or three repeated actions are enough to clean the cartridge. When the pressure-gauge is loosing load up on the head filter, it is suitable to proceed with the cleaning, because then the filter cartridge is clogged again. The Filtermat Europa filter glass is made of Trogamid-T, a plastic featuring extraordinary resistance to chemical stresses, to aging and sudden change in temperature. The Trogamid-T stability is confirmed by a breaking test (55 bar for 3/4", 1", 1 1/4" filter and 40 bar for 1 1/2" and 2" filter). Its molecular structure can be modified only by alcohol and some acids. It is therefore recommended to clean the glass with water only. |

Top reliability materials (Trogamid-T, chrome plated brass and AISI 304 stainless steel). Pleated cartridges with a large filtration surface and long-endurance. Some water is enough to clean and wash the cartridge (about 60 seconds to drain). Easy disassembly of cartridge in case of inspection and/or replacement. For extraction it is enough to unscrew the closing ring The cartridge washing operation can be made, also in an automatic way. With our program which operates by opening and closing the electric valve in days and hours according the customer's wishes. Moreover, every whole cycle the program stresses the cartridge (about ten seconds each) to keep the particles in the bottom glass and to remove them in an easy way. |
