BASKET FILTERS
|
|
Applications
|
These
filters have an extractable basket. They are used for civil and industrial
applications, in pumping systems for wastewater treatment, cooling water,
prefiltration, process water and for installation before electropumps
in order to avoid that coarse solids obstruct and damage impellers.
|
|
Construction |
The
filters
with extractable basket are completely manufactured from stainless steel
AISI 304 or AISI 316. The AP models can work with a maximal working pressure
of 8 bar, while all the other models can work with a maximal working pressure
of 3 or 6 bar. In the models TF the raw water flows in the filtering basket;
all other models have the water inlet directly in the filtering basket.
The inlet and outlet connections are threaded ports ISO 228/1 or free
flanges PN10. In the cover and on the bottom there are two welded muffs
for venting and for the draining of the filter. The cover is closed by
clamp with a lever. For all models the locking is very easy and effective.
After manufacturing all filters are pickled and passivated by immersion.
These unique filters are designed to provide performance over a long service
life with minimal maintenance. A real economical answer to fluid filtration.
By installing adequate filtration systems one could make significant cost
savings.
